No Power to the Machine

1.       Confirm there is no power to the machine by checking that the round green button on back of machine is not illuminated, that are no internal lights on in the machine and the screen on the front of the machine is blank.

2.      Attempt to switch the machine on by using the white box with coloured buttons on the bottom right-hand corner of the back of the machine under the shutter is “on”  by pushing top button.  If the machine doesn't switch on, press the bottom button and then attempt to switch on with the top button again.

3.       If there is still no power to the machine, make sure that machine is plugged in and switched on at wall socket.  In the event that the wall socket also has power buttons on it (this is called the RCD), switch it off using bottom button and on again via the top button.

4.       If the machine is still without power, unplug the machine from the wall and test another electrical device in the socket , for example a phone charger.

5.      If no success, check the mains board to see if the mains has tripped.

6.       If there is still no power to the socket after mains board has been checked, this would be a local issue and you will need to contact an electrician to fix your power.

7.       If there is power to the socket but no power to the machine then an engineer will be required to visit and repair.  It is important that the above steps are followed before an engineer is despatched.
